COACHELLALELLA —>
So yay! I’m heading to Coachella tomorrow. I’m so psyched to see Gogol Bordello, The Coup, Manu Chao, Gotan Project, Bjork, and a bunch of freinds I havent hung out with in a bit. Big thanks to Ken Erlich and The Coup for hooking Liz and I up. I’m especially excited to see the YO! WHAT HAPPENED TO PEACE? book that John Carr and Katharine Kirby curated. John’s helping out at Coachella with the Energy FACTory project. The installation will showcase Wind, Solar, Biodiesel, Ethanol, ManMade and Thermal energy sources… just my cup o tea. At some point I’ll be DJ’ing at the porta-potty DJ booth. If you’re out at Coachella and want to meet up, feel free to text me at 267.258.4195. Liz and I should be running around for the whole weekend frolicking and lamenting the $4 bottles of water.
LOST FILM FEST @ THE SILVERLAKE FILM FEST!!
Finally we have a venue for Lost Film Fest at the Truxtop gallery. Thanks a ton Saskia and Kari for making it happen. It’s all part of the Silverlake Film Festival which should be a total blast. PLEASE spread the word!
I’ll be doing stuff in and around Southern California from the time right after Coachella until May 18th. Check the tourdates for the other shows I have coming up. After May 18th I’ll be heading up to the bay area for the Maker Faire. I’m looking for a place to do Lost Film Fest in SF or the east bay, so shoot info (at) eviltwinbooking.org an email if’n you’re interested in hosting.
